A horrific school shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school has left two children dead and over a dozen wounded. But instead of coming together in mourning, liberal Democrats chose to attack Americans who offered prayers for the victims. This disgusting response shows just how far the radical left has fallen.
The tragedy struck Annunciation Catholic School during morning Mass on Wednesday. Young children were sitting in their pews praying when a deranged shooter opened fire. The killer had written anti-Trump messages and blasphemous words mocking God on the weapon.
Within hours, Democrat politicians were on social media attacking prayer itself. Rep. Maxwell Frost from Florida cursed at Americans offering thoughts and prayers. Jeff Timmer from the Lincoln Project told Senator Lindsey Graham to shut up for praying for the victims.
MSNBC host Jen Psaki led the charge against prayer with her angry posts. She wrote that prayer is not enough and demanded people stop offering thoughts and prayers. These same liberals claim to care about children while mocking the very act these innocent kids were doing when they were killed.
Think about how sick this is. These children died while praying at Mass in their Catholic school. Yet leftist politicians immediately used their deaths to attack the practice of prayer itself. The cruelty and heartlessness of this response is beyond words.
Vice President JD Vance fired back at these attacks with righteous anger. He defended the right of Americans to pray and asked why liberals feel the need to attack grieving people. Vance called out the bizarre liberal war on prayer and faith in America.
This is part of a bigger pattern from the radical left. They attack everything that makes America great including our faith and values. They hate that most Americans still believe in God and turn to prayer in times of crisis.
Real Americans will not let these bullies silence our prayers or our faith. We will continue to pray for these murdered children and their families. We will stand up to any politician who thinks they can shame us for believing in God and the power of prayer.
