The liberal media is at it again. Border Czar Tom Homan had to go on MSNBC to defend himself after they twisted his words about California Governor Gavin Newsom. This is exactly the kind of dishonest reporting we expect from the fake news media.
Homan never threatened to arrest Newsom like NBC claimed. He simply said that nobody is above the law, including governors who might break federal immigration laws. That’s not a threat, that’s just the truth about how our justice system works.
The NBC reporter Jacob Soboroff cherry-picked parts of a 20-minute interview to make Homan look bad. They cut out the context where Homan clearly said people have First Amendment rights to protest. This is pure media manipulation designed to attack Trump’s border security team.
What Homan actually said was simple and fair. People can protest all they want, but they can’t put their hands on law enforcement officers. They also can’t hide illegal aliens from ICE agents, which is already a federal crime.
Homan challenged MSNBC to play the full interview so Americans could see the truth. Of course they won’t do that because it would expose their lies. NBC even had the nerve to say they stand by their dishonest reporting.
This is why millions of Americans don’t trust the mainstream media anymore. They take our patriots who are trying to secure our border and make them look like villains. It’s disgusting and un-American.
Tom Homan is doing exactly what President Trump hired him to do. He’s enforcing our immigration laws and protecting American citizens from criminals who entered our country illegally. The media hates him because he’s actually getting results.
Every patriotic American should see this for what it really is. The liberal media will say anything and twist any story to attack Trump and his team. We can’t let them get away with these lies anymore.
