Los Angeles used to have the best rail system in America. Now it’s a mess. Liberal leaders wasted billions on poorly planned projects that don’t help regular people. They keep pushing trains nobody rides while ignoring common-sense fixes.
The problem starts with bad design. Trains all go downtown like it’s 1920. But LA has sprawled for miles. Workers can’t use rail for cross-town jobs. This outdated thinking comes from bureaucrats who never leave their offices.
Building new lines takes forever. Red tape and environmental rules stall projects for decades. A Union Station upgrade got stuck for years finding contractors. Meanwhile, commuters sit in traffic. Liberals care more about paperwork than results.
Tax money gets flushed on empty trains. The Gold Line opened in 2003 but barely anyone uses it. Buses move more people cheaper. Yet elites keep demanding fancier rail to feel “world-class.” That’s your hard-earned dollars down the drain.
NIMBY liberals block progress too. Homeowners sue to stop apartments near stations. They claim to care about “neighborhood character” but really fear change. Real Americans need homes they can afford, not pretty sidewalks for rich activists.
The high-speed rail scam shows California’s failure. Billions vanished with nothing built. They picked routes nobody wanted to please political buddies. Conservatives would’ve put tracks where people actually live and work.
Real solutions exist. Cut regulations so projects finish fast. Let private companies compete to run better service. Use existing roads for express buses instead of digging tunnels. But until politicians put people first, nothing will change.
LA needs leaders who respect taxpayers, not ivory tower dreamers. Stop the train fantasies. Fix the roads, cut the bureaucracy, and let freedom move us forward. That’s the American way.
