Judges Busted for Assisting Illegal Migrants Escape ICE

Federal authorities have taken dramatic action against judges accused of shielding illegal immigrants from justice. In Wisconsin, Judge Hannah Dugan allegedly helped a Venezuelan migrant with gang ties escape ICE agents through a courthouse back door. Meanwhile, former New Mexico Judge Joel Cano and his wife face charges for hiding a criminal migrant in their home. These arrests show the Trump administration won’t tolerate anyone sabotaging border security.

Judge Dugan’s case reveals shocking details. While processing an illegal immigrant accused of domestic violence, she reportedly misled federal agents and let the suspect slip out a restricted exit. Authorities later chased the fugitive through downtown Milwaukee. This wasn’t courtroom discretion—it was deliberate obstruction to protect someone who shouldn’t be here.

Liberal judges keep putting open borders ideology above public safety. They’ve created sanctuary courthouses where criminal aliens get special treatment. Now the Department of Homeland Security is fighting back with a $200 million ad campaign warning illegals: “We will hunt you down.” The days of catch-and-release are over.

DHS ads feature President Trump’s blunt message—leave voluntarily or face permanent bans. The administration is spending big to run these spots globally, in multiple languages. It’s common sense: if you broke our laws to get here, you don’t get to hide behind activist judges.

The Cano case proves this corruption runs deep. A former judge turned his home into a safehouse for gang-connected migrants. While liberals cry about “intimidation,” real Americans wonder—why are officials protecting foreign criminals instead of US citizens?

Some Democrats claim these arrests threaten judicial independence. Nonsense. Judges don’t get free passes to break federal law. When robes become disguises for lawlessness, it’s time for accountability. The Constitution doesn’t grant immunity to those aiding illegal border crossers.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin put it plainly: “We’re done playing games.” The administration will pursue every person—judge, mayor, or activist—who interferes with immigration enforcement. This isn’t politics. It’s about stopping the flood of drugs, gangs, and violence pouring over our borders.

These arrests send a clear message to sanctuary cities and their enablers. The rule of law is returning. No more backroom deals for criminal aliens. No more safe spaces for those who disrespect our sovereignty. America’s streets will be protected, even if we have to drain the judicial swamp to do it.
