Hamas has spent decades turning hospitals, schools, and civilian buildings into military targets by storing weapons and hiding fighters there. When terrorists deliberately use human shields, tragic incidents like this become inevitable. The blame lies squarely with Hamas for putting innocent people in harm’s way.
Israel faces an impossible choice in this war. No other military in the world operates under such impossible conditions while still trying to minimize harm to innocents.
The Biden administration and liberal media always rush to condemn Israel when these tragedies occur. They ignore the fact that Hamas started this war with the October 7th massacre and continues to use Palestinian civilians as human shields. Israel has every right to defend its people from terrorist attacks.
American taxpayers have sent billions in aid to Gaza over the years, much of which Hamas has stolen to build tunnels and buy weapons. Instead of building hospitals and schools for their people, Hamas chose to build a war machine designed to destroy Israel. The Palestinian people deserve better leaders than these terrorists.
Israel’s military operates with more care for civilian lives than any army in history. They warn civilians before strikes, provide humanitarian aid, and investigate every incident. Hamas celebrates when their own people die because it generates bad headlines for Israel.
The world should support Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas terrorists. Until Hamas surrenders and releases all hostages, Israel must continue this difficult but necessary war. Every American who values freedom and democracy should stand with our strongest ally in the Middle East.
