Ingraham: Dems Root for Recession to Sabotage Trump Economy

The stock market took a nosedive this week, but Fox News host Laura Ingraham says panic is unwarranted. She argues President Trump’s economic policies are steering America toward long-term strength, despite short-term turbulence. Ingraham accuses Democrats of secretly hoping for a recession to damage Trump’s chances in the 2024 election.

Ingraham blasted the “regime press” for pushing what she calls “sky is falling” narratives about the economy. She played clips of Trump promising deregulation and tax cuts, framing recent market drops as a temporary shift. “This is a transition, and it’s good for us,” she said, claiming decades of government overspending are being replaced by private-sector growth.

The host slammed Democrats for criticizing Trump’s tariffs, which she says will protect American jobs. “Democrats fueled the panic over market gyrations instead of supporting policies that put America first,” Ingraham said. She highlighted how tariffs could fund border security and debt reduction, calling it a strategic move to rebuild U.S. manufacturing.

White House advisor Peter Navarro backed Ingraham’s optimism, guaranteeing “no recession” and predicting a market rebound. “Dow 50,000 is coming,” Navarro declared, citing upcoming tax cuts and falling oil prices. Ingraham praised Trump’s focus on reindustrialization, contrasting it with what she called the “globalist” policies of past administrations.

Democrats like Sen. Chuck Schumer warned tariffs would spike inflation, but Ingraham dismissed their concerns as fearmongering. “They’re fine with空心 bureaucracy but oppose Trump’s common-sense reforms,” she said. The host pointed to Supreme Court rulings favoring Trump’s immigration and workforce policies as proof his agenda is working.

Ingraham played emotional clips of factory workers displaced by globalization, asking why Democrats never cared about “their disruption.” She accused the left of short-term thinking, saying Trump’s “long game” will secure America’s economic future. “They’re rooting for failure because they hate Trump more than they love this country,” she argued.

The Fox host concluded by urging viewers to stay calm amid market swings. “Trump’s fighting for an economy that rewards hardworking Americans, not foreign competitors,” she said. Ingraham predicted the current “transition pains” would lead to historic prosperity, dismissing recession fears as partisan lies.
