Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons is finally doing what Americans have been begging for. His agency is targeting the worst criminals who crossed our border illegally. These are the dangerous thugs that liberal policies let roam free in our communities.
Lyons made it clear that ICE is focused on public safety first. The agency is going after violent criminals and sex offenders who have no business being in America. This is exactly what President Trump promised when he won the election.
The numbers don’t lie about the crisis we inherited. ICE just set new detention records because there are so many criminal aliens to round up. Congress gave ICE 75 billion dollars to fix this mess and get these dangerous people off our streets.
But Democrats are fighting back with their usual tricks. Liberal senators are whining about ICE agents wearing masks during operations. They want to make it easier for criminals to identify and target the brave officers keeping us safe.
Even worse, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal called ICE officers terrorists. This is disgusting and shows how backwards the Democrat party has become. They defend actual criminals while attacking the heroes who protect us.
Meanwhile, sanctuary cities keep protecting illegal aliens instead of American citizens. Just recently, an illegal alien shot a federal officer in what police say was his second armed robbery this year. This should never have happened in America.
Lyons fired back at these anti-American politicians with the truth. He reminded everyone that a real terrorist tried to blow up an ICE facility in Washington state. The same Democrats who coddle criminals are now calling law enforcement the bad guys.
