Homan Vows Tough Fight: No Retreat on Border Security

Tom Homan squared his shoulders on Sean Hannity’s show and made one thing crystal clear to Americans: he’s not backing down and he’s not going anywhere. The man President Trump tapped as border czar promised to keep fighting to secure our border and protect our neighborhoods from criminal aliens and cartel thugs. For hardworking citizens fed up with lawlessness, that kind of resolve is exactly what we need right now.

Homan is no armchair pundit — he’s a career law-enforcement professional who ran ICE and now serves at the center of the administration’s immigration enforcement push. He has repeatedly said he’s standing by to help execute a large-scale deportation and border-security operation if called upon, and he’s been candid that this fight won’t be pretty but it is necessary. Conservatives should celebrate having experienced leadership instead of the soft-on-crime amateur hour we’ve seen from the other side.

To the leftist mayors and sanctuary-city officials who think they can thumb their noses at federal law, Homan’s message is blunt: your obstruction won’t stop enforcement. He warned that the administration will use every lawful tool, including litigation and persistent pressure, to make these jurisdictions comply or face consequences for harboring criminals. That’s the kind of backbone Americans voted for — federal laws enforced, not ignored by partisan elites.

Of course, Democrats and their media allies have tried to smear Homan at every turn, even dredging up an FBI undercover episode involving cash to create headlines. Homan has maintained he did nothing illegal and the Justice Department reportedly reviewed the matter — yet the left keeps circling like sharks hoping to scare honest patriots away from serving. We should demand transparency where necessary, but we should not allow baseless character assassination to chase away tough, effective public servants.

Homan has also been raising alarms about national security risks tied to Biden’s lax border policies, warning of the real possibility that dangerous actors are slipping in among the millions who crossed or “got away.” That is not alarmism — it’s common-sense concern based on decades of enforcement experience and the tragic, preventable incidents we’ve already seen. Voters who care about safety and order should take those warnings seriously and back decisive action.

Patriots know the score: open borders mean higher crime, more drugs, and weakened communities. Tom Homan’s pledge to stay in the fight is a breath of fresh air for Americans who want law and order restored, and conservatives must rally behind leaders who will enforce our laws without apology. Sleep well, America? Not while our border is a mess — but sleep easier knowing there are still people like Homan standing watch and ready to act.
