Hannity Blasts Lorenz for Praising CEO Assassination

Taylor Lorenz faced fierce backlash from Sean Hannity after she appeared to praise the man who assassinated UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The Fox News host blasted Lorenz for “putting a smiley face on assassination” and showing more concern about healthcare policy than the murdered father of two. Lorenz claimed her controversial comments about killer Luigi Mangione were taken out of context, but Hannity didn’t buy it.

Hannity hammered Lorenz for calling Mangione “handsome,” “smart,” and “morally good” despite his cold-blooded execution of Thompson. When Lorenz tried pivoting to healthcare system complaints, Hannity shot back: “We can talk about healthcare all night… but you’re advocating murder.” He accused her of having a “missing chip” for showing no remorse about the grieving family left behind.

Republicans erupted over Lorenz’s heartless rhetoric. Senator Ted Cruz called her a “communist” celebrating murder, while Senator Mike Lee warned against normalizing political violence. Even CNN faced backlash for giving Lorenz airtime to glorify a terrorist. Conservatives see this as proof that leftist journalists care more about pushing radical agendas than basic human decency.

Brian Thompson wasn’t some cartoon villain – he was a husband, father, and businessman gunned down in broad daylight. Yet Lorenz and her media allies treated his killer like a folk hero. This isn’t journalism. It’s ideological arson, pouring gasoline on America’s divisions to score cheap political points.

The “Free Luigi” movement exposes the rot in modern activism. Violent extremists get treated as misunderstood revolutionaries if they attack the right targets. Meanwhile, working Americans just want safe streets and leaders who condemn chaos instead of rationalizing it.

Lorenz’s defense? She claims millions agree with her. That’s the problem. The radical left has infected our institutions so deeply that celebrating murderers gets framed as “speaking truth to power.” Real patriots know no cause justifies spilling innocent blood.

Fox News stood strong where others caved. While CNN platforms lunatics, Hannity demanded moral clarity. In today’s upside-down world, basic truths – like “don’t cheer for assassins” – need defending. Thank God someone still has the guts to say it.

This isn’t complicated. Either you stand with hardworking families ripped apart by violence, or you side with the woke mob laughing at their pain. There’s no middle ground. America’s soul depends on choosing right.
