Graduation Days Turned Political: Woke Agendas Hijack Achievements

Graduation ceremonies across America are turning into political circuses. Woke activists hijack these events to push divisive agendas instead of celebrating achievement. Black students, pressured by radical ideologies, waste their big moments preaching nonsense about “systemic oppression” and “decolonizing education.”

UNC recently proved how pathetic this has become. A Black student wrote a satire piece mocking the university’s fake “color blindness” after diversity programs got axed. Instead of real solutions, woke leaders give hollow compliments comparing Black students to random celebrities. These empty gestures insult everyone’s intelligence while real problems get ignored.

California’s ethnic studies disaster shows where this leads. Schools force kids to take courses filled with anti-American lies while ditching math and science. Now even liberals admit their programs spread hate against Jewish students. Taxpayers fund this garbage instead of teaching skills that actually help kids succeed.

Ohio slapped down this madness with a new law killing DEI bureaucracies on campuses. Common-sense leaders finally said no to spending millions on “diversity officers” who just stir up racial tension. Students should focus on grades, not woke propaganda. It’s a major win for parents who want schools to educate, not indoctrinate.

HBCUs quietly keep achieving what wokeness never could. These schools graduate Black students at higher rates without blaming “racism” for every problem. They prove hard work and strong families matter more than victimhood. But the left hates their success because it exposes the fraud of DEI programs.

Project 2025 plans to finish the job by gutting the failed Department of Education. For too long, bureaucrats pushed radical gender theories and critical race junk in classrooms. Returning power to states lets parents decide what’s best for their kids. Real education starts when we stop teaching kids to hate America.

Graduates should celebrate their achievements, not parrot Marxist slogans. The “cringe fest” of woke commencement speeches insults every student who earned their diploma through actual effort. True empowerment comes from skills and character, not whining about oppression.

Conservatives must keep fighting to restore pride in our schools. Let’s honor graduates by teaching patriotism, not grievance. The American dream thrives when we focus on excellence, not excuses.
