Freed Hostage Hails Trump as Hero, Urges Rescue Mission

Iair Horn spent nearly 500 days trapped in Hamas’ dark tunnels. Now free, he credits President Donald Trump for saving his life. “President Trump, you saved my life,” Horn said at a Republican event in Washington. He begged Trump to rescue his brother Eitan, still held by Hamas. “I need President Trump to be a modern Moses… to free my brother and all the hostages.”

Horn’s desperate plea comes as Trump pushes Israel to end the war. The president recently hosted Horn and other freed hostages at the White House. “We are here because of President Trump,” Horn told cheering crowds. Trump promised to keep fighting until every hostage comes home.

Meanwhile, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clashed over trade. The U.S. slapped tariffs on Israeli goods, but Trump stood firm. “We help Israel a lot,” he said. Conservatives praise Trump for putting America first while supporting allies. Critics claim the tariffs hurt relations, but Trump supporters say strong moves get results.

Horn described horrific conditions in captivity—starvation, torture, and constant fear. “Hamas are lunatics who kill and rape,” he said. Trump vowed to crush the terror group, contrasting his approach with past leaders. “Previous administrations let this happen,” Trump said. “We’re cleaning up their mess.”

Families of hostages backed Trump’s tough stance. “Only Trump can fix this,” said Keith Siegel, another freed captive. His wife Aviva added, “Bring them all home!” Passover begins soon, and Horn begged to have his brother at the table. “Eitan is sick… he might die there,” Horn cried.

The White House plans to move Palestinians out of Gaza during rebuilding—a idea Netanyahu called “bold.” Trump’s team says relocating civilians prevents Hamas from regrouping. Democrats complain, but conservatives argue it’s the only way to secure peace.

As the 2025 war drags on, Trump remains focused on hostages. He called Hamas’ hate “unbelievable” and pledged total victory. With 59 hostages still trapped, families trust Trump over weak Washington elites. “History will remember Trump as the leader who acted,” Horn said.

The clock ticks for Eitan Horn and others. Trump’s deadline for Hamas passed, but he stays firm. “No more deals—just win,” said a Trump adviser. For Iair Horn, every day without his brother feels like hell. But with Trump in charge, he hopes this Passover brings miracles.
