Florida’s Sheriff Says You Can Shoot Intruders

Close×

People in Santa Rosa County, Florida, who tried to get guns break my heart, but I couldn't see how they reacted because I wasn't there. The people in the town decided to take matters into their own hands after having heard their sheriff openly tell them to kill intruders and also give them the impression that he agreed.

Just the News says that Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson spoke out about the "stand your ground" campaign. Just the News says that as Brandon J. Harris, 32, ran into homes in the Pace area, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson told people to "stand your ground."

The dogs are free, and it looks like twenty sheriff's deputies are there. His annoying habits include jumping over fences, breaking into houses, and hopping on other people's glasses. We were able to capture him inside the house after following Tom Sawyer's instructions (Road). He was finally taken to a bedroom and held down there.

This is the first time JTN has talked about how Harris often breaks the law. Harris was a young teen when he ran into trouble with the law for the first time. When Harris was first taken into custody, he was being held for 17 different things. Sheriff Johnson said about the suspect, "He just doesn't seem to get that crime doesn't pay."

Even though the person who shot Harris didn't do anything wrong and won't be held accountable for what he did, Johnson says that Harris wasn't known to be a police officer. In his speech, Johnson told the people in the area not only to fight invaders but also to learn how to shoot better.

Whoever shot him is still out there, and we don't know who it was. There was a thought that some of them were criminals. Anyone who tries to break into your house in Santa Rosa County will be welcomed with open arms. We'd like it if you would.

Whoever was to blame doesn't matter. Every other Saturday, we teach a class on how to keep weapons safe. The taxpayers will also benefit from your ability to travel, since you will be able to shoot more accurately and save them money.

BOOM. Literally. This is the tried-and-true way to help taxpayers.

Sheriff Johnson wasn't the only law enforcement officer in Florida who told people to kill thieves and robbers who broke into their homes. The sheriff of Polk County, Grady Judd, reportedly told people to set fire to their homes if invaders came before June 2020. This is what the New York Post says.

They like guns a lot. This is how I would tell them what happened. They love guns very much. They should be able to bring guns with them. You might find me armed to the teeth this evening.

So, in the end, how comforting is it to see respected police officers "speak the silent part out loud" (even though I hate this trite and overused phrase) what they are feeling? When a break-in happens, homeowners should be told to not only fight back with conviction but also use their Second Amendment rights to protect their homes and the lives of their loved ones. But that's not all. If "shoot better," taxpayers might not have to pay for criminals like Brandon Harris for the rest of their lives, which could save them money.

I wouldn't be surprised if Harris did something else wrong after he got out of jail. Before he does anything, he should think about the advice Sheriff Bob Johnson gave him from the homeowner.
