Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz” Set to Lock Up Illegal Immigrants

Florida is building a new detention center for illegal immigrants in the Everglades. They call it “Alligator Alcatraz” because it’s surrounded by swamps full of dangerous wildlife. This will keep migrants from escaping once they are caught.

Attorney General James Uthmeier came up with this smart idea. He says the alligators and snakes act like a natural fence. This saves taxpayers money because we don’t need expensive walls or guards.

Governor Ron DeSantis is using emergency powers to build it fast. Florida leaders are working quickly to support President Trump’s plan to deport criminal aliens. They want to protect our borders and keep Americans safe.

The facility will hold up to 5,000 illegal immigrants. It’s being built on an old airstrip deep in the Everglades. Tents and trailers are going up right now to house them.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem is helping Florida get this done. She says we must act fast to remove illegal aliens from our country. This partnership shows states and the feds can work together for real security.

Florida plans to have the first 1,000 beds ready next month. They aim for 5,000 beds by early July. Our state proves you can build things quickly when you cut through red tape.

This is a strong answer to the border crisis. Tough measures are needed to stop the flood of illegal immigration. Florida is showing real leadership while others just talk.

Hardworking Americans want safety and order. Alligator Alcatraz delivers both by using nature’s defenses. It’s a proud moment for our state and our nation.
