FCC Targets Disney Over Woke Policies in Major Investigation

The federal government is cracking down on Disney’s woke policies. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr announced a major investigation into Disney and ABC for pushing unfair hiring rules. This comes after President Trump moved to end radical DEI programs across America.

Disney had forced TV shows to have 50% of characters from “underrepresented groups.” They also pressured writers, directors, and crew to meet race quotas. The company even tied bosses’ paychecks to hitting these targets. While Disney recently backed off some rules, the FCC says they might still be breaking the law.

Chairman Carr isn’t buying Disney’s changes. He says they might just be hiding their discrimination instead of stopping it. His letter to Disney’s CEO warns that the government won’t let companies pick winners based on skin color or gender. President Trump’s orders made it clear—fairness matters more than woke politics.

Disney’s problems started when they focused more on DEI than making good movies. Their films started flopping, and fans got sick of lectures instead of entertainment. Now, even Disney workers worry the company cares more about politics than creativity.

The FCC isn’t alone in fighting Disney. Most shareholders just voted to keep working with a group that scores companies on liberal policies. This shows Disney’s leaders still care more about woke checklists than their customers.

Conservatives say DEI is just discrimination with a new name. Forcing quotas on hiring and storytelling hurts quality and divides Americans. If Disney wants to rebuild trust, they should focus on talent—not skin color.

President Trump’s team is cleaning up the mess left by years of radical policies. By targeting Disney, the FCC is sending a message: woke corporate bullying won’t fly anymore. Americans want equal opportunity, not special treatment for certain groups.

This investigation could be a turning point. If the FCC finds Disney broke the law, it could mean fines or tighter rules. For families tired of politics in their movies, it’s a sign that common sense is making a comeback.
