Elizabeth Warren Gets Schooled on Economics in Cringe-Worthy Interview

Elizabeth Warren just had one of the worst TV interviews of her political career. The far-left senator went on CNBC to defend socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and got absolutely wrecked by host David Faber. Warren walked right into a buzzsaw of basic economic facts that she couldn’t handle.

Faber destroyed Warren’s argument about raising taxes on New York’s wealthy residents. He pointed out that rich New Yorkers already pay about 15 percent of their income in city and state taxes. When you keep raising taxes on successful people, they simply pack up and move to places like Texas and Florida where they’re treated better.

Warren had no good answer when Faber explained how tax policy actually works. She just kept pushing the same tired socialist talking points about making billionaires pay their fair share. Meanwhile, working families are fleeing New York City every day because Democrats have made it too expensive to live there.

The CNBC host also called out Warren for backing a completely inexperienced candidate. Zohran Mamdani is just 33 years old with zero experience running anything, let alone America’s biggest city. Warren actually thinks this socialist kid should be mayor of New York just because he won a primary.

Faber made it crystal clear that cities compete with each other for businesses and residents. New York doesn’t exist in a bubble where you can just tax everyone into oblivion. Smart companies and wealthy job creators will take their money elsewhere if Democrats keep punishing success.

Warren’s best response was to mock concerns about billionaires going hungry. This shows how out of touch she really is with basic economics. When rich people leave, they take their businesses, jobs, and tax revenue with them. That hurts everyone, especially working families.

The whole exchange proved that Warren lives in a fantasy world where socialist policies magically work. Real journalists like David Faber know better and aren’t afraid to challenge her nonsense. Warren clearly wasn’t expecting to face actual pushback on her radical agenda.

This interview was a perfect example of what happens when liberal politicians face real scrutiny instead of softball questions. Warren looked foolish defending policies that would destroy New York’s economy. No wonder she probably won’t be going back on that show anytime soon.
