Drones for War: Why Silicon Valley’s China Addiction Puts Us at Risk

The Pentagon wants thousands of drones for Pacific war preparations, but Silicon Valley’s defense contractors can’t kick their dangerous addiction to Chinese parts. While President Trump fights to put America first with tough tariffs, these companies keep buying critical components from our top foreign adversary. This isn’t just bad business – it’s a betrayal of our national security.

China controls nearly 90% of the global drone market, making everything from cameras to batteries. Our military contractors got lazy, outsourcing production to communist factories while American manufacturing withered. Now we’re years behind in building our own supply chains – a humiliating position for the greatest nation on earth.

Even Vice President Vance got caught in this mess during a Marine Corps demo last month. The patriot leading our military modernization wore Chinese-made goggles to view American drones! The White House claims they were “just for viewing,” but real leaders don’t parade enemy tech at our bases. This shameful scene shows how deep the rot goes.

Major contractors like Skydio are scrambling after Chinese sanctions cut off their part supplies. Pentagon officials admit Beijing could cripple global drone production overnight. Our troops deserve equipment made by American hands with American materials – not gadgets reliant on a regime that wants to destroy us.

The Biden administration let this disaster fester through weak leadership and woke policies. While they focused on climate drones and diversity quotas, China tightened its grip on military tech. President Trump’s tariffs exposed this vulnerability, but bureaucrats and greedy CEOs ignored the warnings.

Communist drones could soon patrol our skies while American soldiers carry made-in-China gear. This isn’t some dystopian novel – it’s the direct result of globalist policies that put profits over patriotism. Every dollar spent on Chinese parts funds their military buildup against us.

We need immediate action: ban Chinese components in defense contracts, revive U.S. manufacturing through tax incentives, and punish companies that prioritize cheap labor over national security. The Trump-Vance administration must finish draining the swamp that created this crisis.

America built the arsenal of democracy that won World War II. With strong leadership, we can do it again. Let’s put our workers first, buy American, and crush China’s stranglehold on critical technologies. Our survival depends on it.
