Democrats’ TikTok Fail: Gimmicks Won’t Save Their Fading Party

Democrats in Congress tried to connect with young voters by making a silly TikTok video. It backfired badly. The video showed lawmakers pretending to be video game characters while listing random facts about themselves. Conservatives quickly mocked the effort as desperate and out-of-touch.

The White House slammed the Democratic video by releasing their own version. It featured President Trump and his team doing serious work, with the caption “America chose its fighters last November.” The clip showed officials like Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on horseback and border officials securing the frontier. This contrast made the Democrats’ dance moves look even more ridiculous.

CNN commentator Scott Jennings blasted the video during a heated debate. He called it “the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen” and told Democrats to focus on real issues instead of cringey internet trends. Jennings pointed out that Trump is leading by 30 points in polls, proving that gimmicks won’t save their failing party.

Other Republicans piled on the criticism. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Democrats looked “pitiful” compared to Trump’s serious agenda. House Speaker Mike Johnson joked that he hopes Democrats keep making embarrassing videos because it helps Republicans win elections. Even social media users roasted the lawmakers for using a TikTok trend that was popular three years ago.

The Democratic congresswomen tried defending their video by saying it reached seven million people. But comments under the post were filled with laughter and facepalm emojis. Voters saw it as proof that liberals care more about looking cool than solving problems like inflation or border security.

This disaster shows how disconnected Democrats are from everyday Americans. While President Trump and his team work to secure the country, the left is busy making joke videos. It’s no wonder Trump’s approval ratings keep rising as Democrats keep falling.

Some liberals argue the video was just harmless fun. But with America facing serious challenges, voters expect leaders to act like adults. Trump supporters know real strength doesn’t come from TikTok dances—it comes from policies that put America first.

The lesson is clear: Democrats should stop embarrassing themselves online and start addressing the crises they helped create. Until then, conservatives will keep winning by focusing on what really matters—keeping America safe, prosperous, and free from Beijing-style propaganda apps like TikTok.
