Four more lawmakers just flew to El Salvador to fight for Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s return, calling him a “Maryland man” despite his criminal history. They’re spending time and resources defending someone Trump officials say is an MS-13 gang member – putting criminals before American families.
This isn’t some innocent victim. Police records show Abrego Garcia has a rap sheet including domestic violence and suspected gang ties. The Trump administration deported him for good reason – to protect our communities from dangerous thugs. But Democrats see him as a political pawn to attack border security and smear conservatives.
House Republicans rightly blocked taxpayer funding for this disgraceful field trip. While families struggle with inflation and crime, Democrats jet off to coddle a deported felon. It’s a slap in the face to every law-abiding citizen working hard to provide for their kids.
President Trump calls out the left’s lies, stating bluntly that Abrego Garcia is no angel. Radical Democrats and their media allies ignore his violent past, painting him as a choirboy to push their open-borders agenda. They’d rather defend gang affiliates than stand with ICE officers keeping streets safe.
Even the Supreme Court got strong-armed into this mess, ordering Garcia’s return over a paperwork error. Common sense says we shouldn’t import more crime because of bureaucratic technicalities. But the left doesn’t care about common sense – they care about dismantling immigration enforcement.
While Democrats sob over a convicted wife-beater, American neighborhoods deal with real consequences of weak borders. MS-13 runs drugs, traffics children, and murders innocents thanks to lax policies. Every minute spent on this charade is a minute stolen from solving actual problems.
