President Trump gave a big speech to Congress last night. Democrats acted badly during it. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said their behavior showed they hate America and don’t care about regular people.
Democrats yelled at President Trump while he talked. They held up signs saying “lies” and “save Medicaid.” Some even walked out of the room. One Democrat congressman got kicked out for causing trouble. Leavitt called it the “most shameful moment” ever in presidential speeches.
The Democrats couldn’t even clap for good things. They stayed seated when Trump talked about protecting girls’ sports from boys. They didn’t cheer for a brave girl who got hurt by a man on her volleyball team. They refused to stand for a little girl who beat brain cancer.
Reports say Democrats planned to be rude ahead of time. They wanted to use noisemakers and red cards to interrupt Trump. Some wanted to bring egg cartons to complain about food prices. Others talked about waving pocket constitutions to pretend Trump broke the rules.
Republicans cheered loudly for America. They chanted “USA!” and “Fight! Fight! Fight!” after the speech. President Trump talked about sealing the border, cutting taxes, and bringing back American jobs. Over two-thirds of voters approved of his speech according to polls.
Leavitt said Democrats have “Trump derangement syndrome.” She warned they’ll pay for their actions in future elections. “They exposed themselves as the party of insanity and hate,” she said. “The party that wants to put America last.”
The press secretary reminded everyone that Trump won the election by a landslide. She said Democrats disrespected the millions who voted for him. “They couldn’t even clap for mothers whose daughters were killed by illegal aliens,” Leavitt said. “But they jumped up cheering for Ukraine instead of America.”
Last night proved Democrats care more about their radical agenda than working people. While President Trump fights for safety and jobs, the left only causes chaos. Americans want leaders who love this country – not politicians who embarrass us on the world stage.
