Wolf slammed both leaders for refusing federal help to fight crime. When President Trump offers assistance to clean up their mess, they get angry instead of grateful. This shows they care more about their pride than saving lives.
Regular Chicago families are paying the price for this Democrat failure. An 18-year-old was just killed over Labor Day weekend in Little Village. Shootings happen every day while politicians play games with public safety.
The arrest rate in Chicago is absolutely pathetic. Out of nearly 148,000 reported crimes since January, arrests happened in only 16 percent of cases. That means criminals walk free while victims get no justice.
Democrat mayors and governors have turned once-great American cities into war zones. They defund police, coddle criminals, and then act shocked when violence explodes. Their soft-on-crime policies have been a total disaster.
President Trump knows how to restore law and order. His tough policies worked before and they can work again. But Democrats would rather see their cities burn than admit they were wrong.
Chicago voters need to wake up and demand better. They deserve leaders who will fight crime instead of fighting federal help. It is time to put public safety first and kick these failed politicians out of office.
