Dem Insider Julian Epstein Exposes Dems’ Identity Politics Disaster

Democrat consultant Julian Epstein delivered a rare moment of candor on Life, Liberty & Levin on January 11, 2026, telling viewers what many Americans already suspect: identity politics and an anti-Western worldview are dragging the Democratic Party away from the concerns of everyday voters. Epstein’s admission should be a wake-up call to anyone who still believes the left speaks for the mainstream. When even a party insider warns that elites are out of touch, it’s time to listen.

What Epstein described—an obsessive focus on tribal identity and contempt for the traditions that built this country—is exactly what alienates the broad swath of Americans who care about work, family, and opportunity. Voters do not want to be sorted into categories and lectured by coastal elites whose priorities are performative virtue signaling rather than solving real problems. Conservatives have been saying this for years: when you put ideology above results, you lose the center.

Worse still, the anti-Western ideology Epstein warned about is a direct assault on the foundations of American strength and unity. Attacking history, undermining institutions, and promoting a narrative that America is uniquely evil only demoralizes citizens and weakens our ability to defend freedom at home and abroad. Patriotism isn’t a dirty word; it’s the glue that holds our diverse nation together and the moral engine of prosperity.

This moment hands Republicans a clear opportunity if they have the backbone to seize it. We should offer concrete, commonsense plans that address inflation, restore secure borders, reduce crime, and make health care and housing more affordable—without surrendering our principles to bureaucratic overreach. Voters are hungry for leaders who will fix problems instead of indulging in academic obsessions and culture-war virtue tests.

But opportunity demands courage. Too many in the GOP want the easy headlines; the voters want results. Conservatives must push policy that delivers for working families and expose how identity politics is a costly distraction that leaves kitchens cold and gas tanks empty. Winning back power means governing intelligently, not just scoring rhetorical points.

Epstein’s words are an indictment of the Democratic leadership that pretends radical theories represent everyday Americans. If Democrats fail to recalibrate toward the center and prioritize the material well-being of the electorate, their electoral prospects will continue to sour. That reality should embolden conservatives to remain relentless in holding them accountable.

Patriotic Americans shouldn’t be shy about rejecting the political class that profits from division. Roll up your sleeves, show up at the ballot box, and demand leaders who put country over ideology. The future of America belongs to those who love her traditions and fight to preserve her promise for the next generation.
