Cruz Blasts Biden: Prioritize America, Not Ukraine Aid Agenda

Senator Ted Cruz slammed the Biden administration for pouring money into Ukraine while ignoring America’s own problems. He argued that President Biden’s weak policies caused the war in Ukraine and now taxpayers are stuck paying the bill. Cruz said Biden’s decision to lift sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline gave Putin the green light to invade.

Cruz explained that Biden waived sanctions on the Russian pipeline early in his presidency. Those sanctions were meant to stop Putin from controlling Europe’s energy supply. By backing down, Cruz claimed Biden showed weakness that emboldened Russia. He said this failure led directly to the bloodshed in Ukraine.

The Texas senator also accused Biden of funding both sides of the war. While sending billions to Ukraine, the White House freed up $6 billion for Iran in a hostage deal. Cruz warned that Iran would use that money to build drones for Russia. He called it “madness” to arm Ukraine while helping its enemies.

Cruz voted against a recent $95 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. He said America should secure its own border first before sending cash overseas. Fellow Texas Senator John Cornyn supported the bill, but Cruz argued it abandoned U.S. priorities. Many conservatives agree with Cruz, saying open borders make foreign aid irresponsible.

Republican voters are tired of watching Biden shovel money abroad while communities like East Palestine suffer. They see Ukrainian flags as liberal virtue signaling instead of real leadership. Cruz warned that blindly funding wars without clear goals wastes American resources. He said real strength means putting U.S. interests first.

Critics say Biden’s foreign policy failures go beyond Ukraine. His botched Afghanistan withdrawal convinced enemies like China and Iran that America is weak. Cruz argued that Putin and China’s Xi only understand strength—something Biden hasn’t shown. Without firm leadership, global threats will keep growing.

The Biden administration claims supporting Ukraine defends democracy worldwide. But Cruz says pouring cash into a corrupt country without oversight helps no one. He pointed to Hunter Biden’s shady deals in Ukraine as proof of Democratic hypocrisy. Conservatives want accountability, not blank checks for foreign governments.

As the 2024 election heats up, Cruz urges voters to reject Biden’s America-last agenda. He says real change starts with securing borders, cutting wasteful spending, and restoring respect on the world stage. For now, conservatives will keep fighting to stop reckless policies that put global elites ahead of hardworking Americans.
