Rep. Jasmine Crockett just suffered another embarrassing defeat in Congress. She dropped her bid to become the top Democrat on the powerful House Oversight Committee after failing to win support. This marks her second failed attempt to climb the leadership ladder. Her loud rants and extreme attacks aren’t winning any allies.
Crockett wanted to lead the committee that would investigate President Trump. She promised to be more aggressive against the Trump administration. But her own party rejected her. They chose a different Democrat instead. Her big talk didn’t match her results.
The Texas Democrat can’t stop making explosive remarks. She recently called President Trump a “mofo” in a live video. She accused him of illegally declaring war on Iran. Her vulgar language shocked many Americans. This kind of behavior doesn’t belong in Congress.
Even when praising a Republican colleague, Crockett insulted our commander-in-chief. She shouted about the White House “mofo” while backing a resolution against Trump’s Iran strikes. Her unhinged rant showed zero respect for the presidency. Such conduct embarrasses her district.
Crockett boasts about coming to Congress “to fight” instead of working quietly. She told Katie Couric she’s ready to “rattle the system.” But all she’s rattling is her own credibility. Her constant grandstanding turns serious politics into a joke.
Remember her viral DEI committee meltdown last year? Crockett screamed that “there has been no oppression for the white man.” She compared people to Twinkies and Nilla Wafers. Even fellow Democrats cringed at her ridiculous performance. It was another unprofessional outburst.
Despite her social media fame, Crockett keeps losing where it counts. She got laughed out of the Oversight leadership race. Her colleagues clearly don’t take her seriously. Real leadership requires more than fiery Instagram rants. It demands respect and results.
Every time this congresswoman grabs the spotlight, she becomes the punchline. From cringeworthy dessert analogies to failed power grabs, Crockett’s circus act grows tiresome. Hardworking Texans deserve better than this clown show in Washington.
