Two innocent children were gunned down while praying in a Minneapolis church, and it breaks every American’s heart. Eight-year-old and ten-year-old kids were just sitting in the pews when a monster opened fire through the windows. This attack on our most vulnerable shows just how far our society has fallen.
The shooter came armed with multiple weapons and fired dozens of rounds at children during Mass. Seventeen other people were hurt, including more kids and elderly church members. This was a planned attack on people of faith, and the FBI is treating it as domestic terrorism and an anti-Catholic hate crime.
While families grieve, liberal politicians are already pushing their same failed agenda. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey immediately called for more gun bans instead of focusing on the real problem. These are the same soft-on-crime policies that have turned American cities into war zones.
Minnesota has been run by Democrats for years, and look what we get. Crime is out of control because liberals care more about criminals than victims. They defund police, empty jails, and then act shocked when violence explodes.
Our churches should be safe places where families can worship without fear. Instead, we have politicians who attack faith while ignoring the real threats to our communities. They spend more time protecting criminals than protecting children.
The shooter bought these weapons legally, which shows background checks do not stop evil people. Criminals will always find ways to hurt innocent people. What we need is more security at our schools and churches, not more laws that only hurt law-abiding citizens.
Parents across America are asking the same question: how do we keep our kids safe? The answer is not more liberal policies that have already failed. We need leaders who will stand up for our values and protect our children.
This tragedy should unite us in protecting what matters most. Our children, our faith, and our communities deserve leaders who will fight for them. America needs to return to the values that made us strong, not the failed policies that make us weak.
