Coldplay singer Chris Martin showed his true colors at a recent London concert when he humiliated two young Israeli fans in front of 90,000 people. The rock star invited the women on stage at Wembley Stadium, then felt the need to tell them he would treat them as “equal humans on Earth.” Why would anyone need to say that about innocent concertgoers unless they don’t really believe it?
The crowd booed these Israeli fans just for being Israeli. Martin then made things worse by going out of his way to welcome Palestinians in the audience, drawing huge cheers from the anti-Israel mob. The message was crystal clear: Israelis are the bad guys and need special permission to be treated like people.
This is the ugly face of Hollywood’s anti-Israel bias on full display. Martin bought into the lie that Israel is somehow the villain in this conflict. He forgot that Hamas terrorists attacked innocent Israeli families on October 7th and still hold dozens of hostages after nearly two years.
The two Israeli women said it was “scary” that 90,000 people knew where they were from and turned against them. These are just young music fans who wanted to enjoy a concert. Instead they got a political lecture and public humiliation from a woke celebrity.
Martin would never pull this stunt if Palestinian fans came on stage. He wouldn’t feel the need to remind everyone that Palestinians are human beings too. He certainly wouldn’t go out of his way to acknowledge Israelis in the crowd and lecture about equality.
This double standard shows how deep the anti-Israel poison has spread through our entertainment industry. Celebrities are so terrified of the radical left that they throw our closest ally under the bus. They care more about woke points than basic decency.
Concerts should be about music, not political grandstanding. People pay good money to escape the world’s problems for a few hours. Instead they get lectured by millionaire musicians who live in gated communities and have no clue about real life.
Chris Martin owes those two young women a serious apology. His cowardly performance was disgusting and shows why Americans are fed up with Hollywood elites. Maybe next time he should stick to singing instead of pushing anti-Israel propaganda.
