Chinese Fentanyl Issue Completely IGNORED In Xi Jinping Meeting

Fentanyl is supplied by China to Mexican drug gangs, which are then responsible for smuggling it into the United States, where it has a terrible effect on communities all throughout the country.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 100,000 people in the United States passed away as a result of opioid overdoses in a single year, with fentanyl being responsible for over two thirds of those deaths.

Even though Vice President Biden is aware of the issues that fentanyl causes in American communities, his government has not made combating the problem a key priority.

During a campaign rally that took place in Pennsylvania in August, Vice President Biden made the statement that “We’re going to impose tougher penalties for deadly fentanyl trafficking that’s poisoning communities across this country,”

The president has devoted a greater portion of his time to laying the blame for fatalities in the United States on assault rifles and has frequently pledged to make a ban on them nationally.

In September, Democrats were successful in thwarting a Republican effort to permanently designate compounds related to fentanyl as belonging to Schedule I of the Controlled Medications Act. This would have made it unlawful to sell such substances forever.

In an effort to "disrupt" the fentanyl supply chain, Vice President Biden announced sanctions against four Chinese pill makers in December 2021; nevertheless, these measures have not had a substantial influence on the epidemic.

China's response was to deny any involvement in the disaster, shifting the blame instead onto the opioid addiction problem in the United States.

In a press conference regarding the issue, a spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs named Wang Wenbin made the following statement: “We urge the U.S. to respect the facts, look more to itself for the causes of the fentanyl abuse problem, and objectively and fairly evaluate the efforts made by China, rather than blaming other countries.”
