The Chinese company Kaiwa Technology showed off their pregnancy robot at a big conference in Beijing. Dr Zhang Qifeng says his team can put an artificial womb inside a humanoid robot. The machine would carry a baby from start to finish for about 14000 dollars.

Chinese leaders claim this will help couples who cant have babies naturally. But this is really about government control over human reproduction. Communist China has always wanted to decide who gets born and how many children families can have.
The artificial womb uses fake fluid and tubes to feed nutrients to growing babies. Scientists already tested similar technology on baby lambs back in 2017. Now they want to use it on human children like some sick science experiment.
