California Judge Offers Freedom to Menendez Brothers After 35 Years

A California judge just gave the Menendez brothers their first shot at freedom after 35 years behind bars. Their lawyer Mark Geragos blasted the justice system, claiming gender bias kept them locked up while female criminals walk free.

The brothers got 50 years to life for blasting their wealthy parents with shotguns in 1989. Geragos argued they acted in panic after years of abuse, but prosecutors called it cold-blooded murder for inheritance money. Critics say this soft-on-crime approach rewards brutal killers.

Family members sobbed in court begging for mercy. Cousins claimed the men transformed into model prisoners who help elderly inmates. But prison records show they recently smuggled cellphones – proof they still break rules when nobody’s watching.

Judge Jesic ignored prosecutors’ warnings and slashed their original life sentence. The brothers tearfully “apologized” on Zoom calls while victims’ rights groups fumed. This decision shows California’s liberal courts care more about criminals’ feelings than justice.

Geragos exploded: “If these were sisters instead of brothers, they’d be home baking cookies by now.” His fiery words expose the double standard where women get sympathy while men face maximum punishment. Real justice shouldn’t depend on gender.

These privileged killers could parole out while working-class Americans rot for lesser crimes. The parole board must decide if Beverly Hills brats who butchered their family deserve freedom. Law-abiding citizens know the answer.

California’s radical DA Gascon started this mess by pushing to free violent offenders. Now every cop-killer and gang thug will demand special treatment. This isn’t prison reform – it’s a slap in the face to every victim’s family.

The Menendez case proves the Left’s agenda: empty the prisons, blame society, and let predators roam. Hardworking Americans want courts that punish evil, not excuse it. Our justice system shouldn’t become a revolving door for rich murderers.
