California Democrats are pushing to let violent killers out of prison early. Senate Bill 672 just passed the State Senate. It would let murderers sentenced to life without parole ask for early release if they killed someone before age 26. Republicans fiercely oppose this dangerous idea.
This bill opens prison doors for around 1,600 cold-blooded killers. These aren’t petty criminals. They committed the most heinous murders imaginable. Democrats call it the “Youth Rehabilitation Act.” But killing isn’t a youthful mistake. It’s evil.
Republicans stood united against this soft-on-crime disaster. Senator Kelly Seyarto warned it releases violent monsters deemed beyond rehabilitation. These killers were given life sentences for good reason. Releasing them puts every Californian in danger.
The victims’ families are being betrayed. Their lifelong pain doesn’t matter to Democrats. Riverside’s District Attorney calls these crimes “uniquely serious.” Yet Democrats want to undo justice. They care more about murderers than mourning families.
California already lets too many violent criminals out early. Prop 57 and other laws already cut sentences. Now Democrats want to gut life sentences too. This follows their pattern. First nonviolent offenders, now murderers. Where does it end?
Families of murder victims are reliving their trauma. Imagine seeing your loved one’s killer walk free. Democrats ignore this agony. They dismiss victims as inconveniences. Their policies scream that criminals matter more than law-abiding citizens.
This isn’t about fairness. It’s about Democrats weakening our justice system. They insult police and prosecutors who put these monsters away. Real justice means keeping dangerous killers locked up forever. Protecting families should come first.
California deserves leaders who back law enforcement. We need truth in sentencing. Life without parole must mean life. Releasing these killers would be a catastrophic mistake. Public safety must come before politics.
