Britain has become a police state where speaking your mind can land you in jail. UK cops are arresting over 30 people every single day just for posting things online that someone finds annoying or uncomfortable. That means more than 12,000 freedom-loving Brits got hauled away in handcuffs last year for exercising basic free speech rights.
This is what happens when liberals get their way and destroy constitutional protections. The UK doesn’t have our First Amendment, so their government can crush anyone who dares to speak truth. They even arrested a man for praying silently in his own head. Let that sink in – they are now policing people’s thoughts and prayers.
The numbers prove this is pure government tyranny at work. While arrests have skyrocketed by 58 percent since 2019, actual convictions keep dropping because most of these cases are complete garbage. Cops are destroying innocent people’s lives and reputations over hurt feelings and political correctness gone mad.
Scotland just passed an even worse law that can throw you in prison for seven years if your speech “stirs up hatred.” Who decides what hatred means? Liberal bureaucrats and woke activists who hate conservative values. This is exactly the kind of speech police state that our Founding Fathers warned us about.
The really scary part is how this cancer is spreading to American tech companies. Britain’s new internet laws now control what Americans can say on social media platforms. Foreign governments are literally censoring American citizens while our own leaders do nothing to stop it.
Even America’s State Department is finally waking up to this free speech disaster across the pond. They’re calling out Britain’s assault on basic human rights and warning the world about this dangerous slide into authoritarianism. Too bad our own government won’t defend Americans from the same attacks here at home.
This should terrify every patriotic American who loves freedom. If it can happen in Britain, it can happen here – and it already is happening with big tech censorship and cancel culture. The left wants to import these same speech-crushing laws to destroy anyone who opposes their radical agenda.
We must fight back now before it’s too late. Our First Amendment is the greatest protection for free speech in human history, but it’s under constant attack from the same forces destroying Britain. Every American who believes in liberty must stand up and defend our constitutional rights before we lose them forever.
