Meanwhile, Republican leaders like Ron DeSantis, Bill Barr, and Kevin McCarthy regularly appear on Maher’s show. They face tough questions and hostile crowds but they show up anyway. Maher admitted these conservatives “take their beating like a man” while Democrats run and hide.
This exposes the real problem with today’s Democrat Party. They cannot defend their failed policies in open debate. They know their woke agenda falls apart under basic questioning from even their own supporters.
Maher also praised President Trump’s strong positions on NATO and trade deals. He recognized that Trump kept America out of new wars while rebuilding our military strength. Even this liberal host can see Trump’s America First policies worked.
The comedian warned that voters can smell fear from Democrats. Americans want leaders who are “strong and wrong” rather than “weak and woke.” This perfectly captures why Trump connects with working families while Democrats lecture from their ivory towers.
Democrat politicians have become so fragile they cannot handle basic interviews. They prefer scripted events with friendly media rather than real conversations with real Americans. This shows they have lost touch with the people they claim to represent.
