The United States is clearly on the verge of a recession. Biden’s foolish economic policies have purposefully raised inflation, and his energy policies have crippled our oil and gas industries. For screaming out loud, we can’t even get baby formula. And his open border is allowing millions of illegal immigrants to enter the country, threatening our national security and employment market.
Joe Biden, by all accounts, is putting Americans last. He appears to be far more concerned with repaying his international supporters, such as China and Iran. The war in Ukraine continues to rage, with no one willing to put an end to it. Instead, our government, like many others, is robbing its own citizens to support what could be a show.
Now, the Senate has deceived the American people by handing up another $40 billion.
The Senate unanimously passed a $40 billion military and economic aid package for Ukraine and its allies on Thursday…
The bill, which offers military and humanitarian aid, has already cleared the House of Representatives, which is controlled by Democrats. Because he’s effectively spent the billions Congress has already approved, Biden has requested for more money by Thursday.
On Capitol Hill, such spending has largely received bipartisan backing. However, 11 Republican senators voted earlier this week to oppose the assistance package’s advancement, citing concerns about the cost, the lack of a strategy to offset the spending, and what they see as European countries’ failure to pay their due amount. The Senate voted 86-11 in favour of the House bill. Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., John Boozman, R-Ark., Mike Braun, R-Ind., Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Mike Lee, R-Utah, were the only Republicans who rejected this wasteful spending. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo. ), Roger Marshall (R-Kan. ), and Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) are all Republicans.
These were the only Republicans in the Senate who were willing to vote against sending more money to Ukraine to fight a war we have no involvement in. A conflict that appears to be dragging on indefinitely with no end in sight, and sanctions that are already harming our country.
At the same time, Americans are unable to fill their automobiles with gas or obtain infant formula. Yet we’re supposed to be fine sending $40 billion of our own money to another country?
Don’t let this bill mislead you. This is hardly a kind gesture toward Ukraine. This money will be funnelled into the military-industrial complex’s coffers. All of the companies that manufacture firearms, bombs, and other weapons of war. This is just another example of our legislators’ bribes to special interest groups and lobbyists in Washington, D.C.
Biden is squandering America’s resources on a never-ending conflict. This is in line with his overarching strategy of destroying America’s economy and global standing.
There is no evidence that this money will help alter the war’s tide. We’ve already poured billions into this, and Putin is still doing havoc. Because Russia has significant ties to China, sanctions have had no effect. The only thing Biden has accomplished is to weaken and impoverish our country.
Which appears to be his primary objective.
