ANC’s Ruin: How Decades of Corruption Are Destroying South Africa

South Africa’s collapse under decades of ANC rule has reached a breaking point. Corruption, economic decline, and radical policies like land expropriation without compensation have pushed the nation to the edge. The ANC’s failures highlight the dangers of socialist governance and racial division, leaving many South Africans desperate for change.

The African National Congress (ANC) has run South Africa into the ground since taking power. Once a symbol of hope after apartheid, the party now clings to power through corruption and mismanagement. State-owned companies like Eskom, which can’t keep the lights on, and bankrupt airlines show how the ANC’s incompetence has crippled the economy. Unemployment sits at over 30%, with millions trapped in poverty.

Corruption is everywhere. ANC leaders have stolen billions meant for schools, hospitals, and roads. High-ranking officials live lavish lifestyles while ordinary citizens suffer. Even ANC members admit the party is rotten to the core. Instead of fixing problems, the ANC blames apartheid and white South Africans for their own failures.

The new expropriation law, signed by President Cyril Ramaphosa, lets the government seize land from white farmers without paying them. Supporters claim it’s about “justice,” but critics call it racist and illegal. This policy has scared off investors and worsened food shortages. White farmers, who feed the nation, are now targets simply because of their skin color.

President Trump’s decision to cut U.S. aid to South Africa was a wake-up call. He called out the ANC’s unfair treatment of white citizens and their cozy deals with Russia and China. The ANC’s radical policies have isolated South Africa from the West, leaving it dependent on dictatorships. Trump’s move shows the world won’t tolerate racist laws disguised as “reform.”

South Africa’s infrastructure is crumbling. Daily power outages, broken railroads, and water shortages make life unbearable. The ANC wasted billions on corrupt contracts instead of maintaining essential services. Hospitals lack supplies, schools are failing, and crime runs rampant. The ANC’s answer? More empty promises and blame-shifting.

Conservatives like Rob Hersov argue South Africa needs international pressure to stop the ANC’s destruction. Hersov praises Trump for standing up to the ANC and urges other leaders to follow. The ANC’s alliance with radical groups like the EFF and MK Party proves they care more about power than fixing the country.

There’s still hope. South Africans are resilient, and many fight daily to rebuild their nation. Entrepreneurs and activists push for accountability, while opposition parties like the DA work to check the ANC’s worst instincts. With strong leadership and global support, South Africa can recover—but only if the ANC’s toxic grip is broken.
