America’s True Heroes: Remembering 9/11 First Responders Today

Twenty-four years ago today, America faced its darkest hour when radical Islamic terrorists murdered nearly 3,000 innocent Americans. But in that darkness, our greatest heroes emerged. The brave first responders who rushed into those burning towers showed the world what American courage truly looks like.

These heroes didn’t think twice about their own safety when they heard their country calling. Police officers, firefighters, and paramedics ran toward danger while others ran away. They embodied everything great about America in those crucial moments.

Today these same patriots are still fighting for recognition and proper healthcare. Many are sick and dying from the toxic dust they breathed while saving lives. Yet Washington bureaucrats often ignore their needs while sending billions overseas to countries that hate us.

The first responders who appeared on American Agenda understand what real sacrifice means. They witnessed evil firsthand and never forgot who our enemies are. These men and women know that America must stay strong and vigilant against those who want to destroy us.

While liberal politicians want to forget 9/11 and coddle terrorists, our first responders remember the truth. They know that weakness invites more attacks. They understand that America must never apologize for defending itself against radical Islamic terrorism.

These heroes also know that unity made us stronger after 9/11. Americans came together regardless of politics or race. We were proud of our flag and our values when it mattered most.

Today’s first responders carry on that same spirit of service and patriotism. They protect our communities every day while facing increased dangers from rising crime. They deserve our support and respect, not the attacks from anti-police activists.

On this sacred anniversary, we must honor their sacrifice by staying true to American values. We must never forget who attacked us and why. Our first responders remind us that freedom isn’t free, and heroes still walk among us.
