Adams’ Prostitution Crackdown Shakes Up Roosevelt Avenue Amid Liberal Pushback

Mayor Eric Adams’ crackdown on prostitution along Roosevelt Avenue shows real results. His Operation Restore Roosevelt made 985 arrests, cleaning up this troubled area. But liberals want to end this progress, putting our neighborhoods at risk again.

Hardworking Queens residents demanded action against open prostitution and brothels. They mapped out 14 illegal spots that needed shutting down. Police answered their call with padlock orders and constant patrols.

Yet soft-on-crime policies have already weakened enforcement. Prostitution arrests dropped from 20,000 per year to just 107 last year. Progressive district attorneys refuse to prosecute these cases, leaving cops powerless.

Now far-left mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani threatens to end the crackdown completely. His radical allies view these police operations as harassment, not protection. They ignore the families living near these Red Light districts.

This is about basic safety for our streets. Residents report prostitutes openly soliciting despite police efforts. Brothels reopen quickly because liberals block permanent closures. Patriots demand real consequences, not empty promises.

The NYPD deputy commissioner admits they need new tactics to combat this plague. Cameras monitor Roosevelt Avenue, and vice squads run undercover stings. But without city support, their hands stay tied.

Conservatives understand what keeps communities safe: enforcing laws, supporting police, and standing with victims. Liberals protect criminals while ignoring children walking past brothels daily. This hypocrisy hurts real people.

We must keep fighting for law and order. Operation Restore Roosevelt cut crime by 29% this year. Ending it would betray every family who reclaimed their neighborhood. Common sense says: Stand with police, not prostitutes.
