ACLU Slammed: Ignoring Girls’ Rights for Woke Ideology

Emily Compagno didn’t mince words on Outnumbered, ripping into a recent ACLU advertisement and accusing the organization of actively “erasing” our daughters in the name of ideology. Her fury captures what millions of Americans already feel: elite legal groups are pushing cultural experiments that sacrifice girls’ safety and fairness for woke branding.

The ad at the center of this storm openly promotes biological boys competing in girls’ sports, and Fox’s panels have been dissecting the legal and moral fallout as landmark court battles loom. This isn’t abstract theory; it’s a frontline fight over girls’ locker rooms, scholarships, and the last vestiges of fair competition.

Fox News coverage has also highlighted troubling allegations of harassment and intimidation tied to some of these cases, showing the human cost when policy is divorced from common sense. Young female athletes reporting fear and unequal treatment should be the beginning of our concern, not an afterthought.

The ACLU’s posture here is the very definition of elite blowhards — institutions wrapped in moral self-righteousness while ignoring the everyday consequences for real families. It’s easy to posture about abstract “rights” from headquarters in Manhattan or D.C.; it’s another thing to look a soccer coach or a mother in the eye and answer why their daughters were forced aside.

Conservatives aren’t arguing from hate; we’re insisting on biological reality, fairness, and the protection of women’s spaces that were created for a reason. That is why more than 200 women lawmakers and grassroots advocates have rallied to defend female athletes and push back against judicial redefinitions that erase sex-based protections.

This fight will be decided in courtrooms and in the court of public opinion, and the stakes are enormous — from K-12 athletics to collegiate scholarships and beyond. If the next generation of judges bows to ideological pressure rather than the plain reading of sex-based protections, it will be a lasting defeat for commonsense policy and for the young women who deserve a level playing field.

Parents, coaches, and community leaders must refuse to be bullied by elite institutions that put ideology ahead of kids. Stand up for girls, demand transparent rules that prioritize safety and fairness, and don’t let the ACLU or any other activist organization rebrand reality to satisfy a political agenda.
