Democrats Use Epstein Emails for Political Smear Against Trump

House Democrats’ dramatic release of a handful of Jeffrey Epstein emails on November 12, 2025 was always going to be clickbait — the messages are Epstein’s own rambling notes and secondhand boasts, not a smoking gun. Reporters from the Washington Post and the Associated Press confirmed the emails consisted of private exchanges in which Epstein claimed President Trump “knew about the girls,” a claim he made long after his crimes were public.

Retired Judge Andrew Napolitano rightly tore into the stunt on Newsmax’s Wake Up America, calling the Democrats’ gambit an obvious attempt to smear the president rather than a serious legal case. Napolitano — a seasoned legal analyst who’s been warning about politicized document dumps — pointed out that these private emails aren’t evidence of criminal conduct and that Democrats are weaponizing raw material to manufacture headlines.

Anyone with even a shred of fairness knows Epstein was a liar and a braggart who wrote whatever served his self-interest; his private notes do not equal conviction. The White House and several Republicans noted the same point, and even Virginia Giuffre — the alleged victim referenced by the Democrats — repeatedly said she never saw Trump engage in or condone abuse, undermining the left’s narrative.

Let’s be blunt: the Epstein emails are self-serving scraps from a convicted sex trafficker’s estate, and multiple federal inquiries have found no magic “client list” to prove a broader conspiracy. Conservatives should demand the same standard of evidence the left claims to champion — allegations deserve investigation, but not the theatrical trial-by-press-release Democrats staged this week.

Republican defenders have also produced documentation that undercuts the smear, including House GOP material and interviews showing former officials saw no proof tying Trump to criminal conduct; the GOP has pushed back hard against this selective leaking. As Politico reported, former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta’s testimony and other GOP findings have been waved around to argue there’s no credible legal case against the president, which is exactly why Democrats resort to narrative warfare instead.

This is what Washington’s permanent political class looks like when it runs out of policy arguments: it scavenges the files of a dead monster to try to kneecap a political opponent. Hardworking Americans deserve leaders focused on securing the border, lowering costs, and keeping our streets safe — not a nonstop feeding frenzy of anonymous emails, leaks, and partisan theater.

Patriots should shrug off the Democrats’ playbook and demand fairness: release all the documents, stop cherry-picking, and let facts — not phony headlines engineered for left-wing outlets — decide public judgment. If the left truly cared about victims, it would pursue justice for them instead of exploiting their tragedies as election-season weapons.
