Former Capitol Police Officer Linked to January 6 Pipe-Bomb Suspect

A shocking new report this week alleges a direct link between a January 6 pipe-bomb suspect and a former U.S. Capitol Police officer — a claim that, if true, would expose one of the most brazen betrayals of public trust in recent memory. The reporting centers on whistleblower testimony and fresh video analysis that conservative investigators say point to irregularities in the FBI’s handling of the case.

Former FBI case agent and whistleblower Kyle Seraphin has gone public, insisting his team was on the verge of identifying the individual who placed the devices before being inexplicably pulled off the investigation. Seraphin’s account makes clear that rank-and-file investigators repeatedly asked to follow clear leads and were denied, a pattern conservatives argue smells like institutionally protected cover-up.

Video surfaced showing a person casually interacting with a Capitol Police squad car minutes before one of the devices was found, and multiple conservative outlets report that the anonymous “passerby” may have been an undercover or on-duty officer. If officers were involved in planting or facilitating the discovery of those devices, it would confirm the worst fears of citizens who’ve watched federal agencies dodge accountability since January 6.

Whistleblowers and independent analysts point to oddities like a SmarTrip card trail, a vehicle tied to a security-cleared contractor, and alleged gait-analysis matches that merit real, sworn testimony before Congress. Instead of transparency, what we have seen are stalled inquiries, selective releases, and sudden changes in investigative priorities — conduct unworthy of agencies sworn to defend the Constitution.

Patriots should not be satisfied with vague denials from the FBI and Capitol Police chief statements that sound like rehearsed talking points. Republicans and independents alike must demand a full, public accounting: transcribed testimony, the raw surveillance footage, and forensic reports released without redactions. The American people deserve to know whether federal assets were weaponized against them in a scheme to justify a political narrative.

This is why whistleblowers like Seraphin matter — they risk career and reputation to pull back the curtain on abuse. Conservatives must stand with those who expose double standards and insist on equal application of the law, not selective enforcement that protects insiders. Congress should act now to subpoena every relevant record and interview every officer and FBI official connected to the case until the truth is laid bare.
