Gaza Breakthrough: Trump’s Tough Stance Wins Where Biden Failed

Sen. Rick Scott told Fox viewers this weekend that the long, costly slog in Gaza may be closer to an end than the left-leaning media admits, and he urged Americans to back a president who’s actually forcing results rather than issuing empty platitudes. Republicans watching from the sidelines should take heart: conservative leadership and decisive American pressure are the reason talks are happening now, not the wishful thinking of the Biden era.

President Trump’s 20-point proposal and his hard deadline have injected real leverage into the negotiations, and even wary foreign leaders are engaging in diplomacy because they see America back in the driver’s seat. That momentum is fragile and must be defended—no appeasement, no moral equivalence, just a clear plan to strip terrorists of power and secure the release of hostages.

Sen. Scott didn’t mince words about what real support for Israel looks like; he’s pressed for decisive action against Hamas and criticized the Biden administration’s timid, often contradictory posture. Americans tired of echoing statements and hollow sympathy should welcome senators who demand Israel be allowed to finish the job and to remove the terror infrastructure that threatened innocent lives.

Back home, Washington is showing its usual paralysis as a government shutdown drags on, and conservatives are right to hold the line against careless spending while demanding targeted support for our allies and national security priorities. This moment exposes the fundamental difference between the responsible fiscal stewardship Republicans promise and the reckless giveaways Democrats champion; hardworking Americans deserve a government that secures the nation first and spends taxpayer dollars with purpose.

The sentence handed down this week to the would-be assassin of Justice Brett Kavanaugh—97 months behind bars—reminds every American that political violence is a real and rising threat, and that our justice system must treat attacks on public servants with the seriousness they warrant. While some in the media rush to explain away motives and emphasize mental-health defenses, conservatives demand accountability and strong deterrence to protect judges, officials, and the rule of law.

Patriots should be unapologetically clear: we back a president who uses American strength and diplomacy to bring enemies to the table, we stand with Israel against Islamist terror, and we will not tolerate the lawlessness and moral cowardice that has become fashionable on the left. If Washington won’t get serious about funding priorities, border security, and defending our allies, voters will remember who stood firm and who surrendered.
