Kirk was speaking to college students when the coward opened fire in front of hundreds of people. The shocking video went viral, showing the moment this brave conservative leader was struck down for defending America.
Brice performed his tribute just one day after the murder, on September 11th no less. He told his packed audience that he wanted to honor what Kirk “so adamantly stood for” and said he didn’t want to see America without God. The crowd erupted in cheers as Brice sang about faith and the kingdom of heaven.
The country star later explained on Fox News that Kirk had a “heart of God” and showed incredible bravery. Kirk would sit just ten feet from hostile college kids every day, defending conservative values with grace and respect. He never backed down from the liberal mob that wanted to silence him.
Of course, the left is having a meltdown over Brice’s tribute. Some fans are attacking the singer for honoring a murdered man simply because they hate Kirk’s pro-life, pro-America message. These same people who preach tolerance show their true colors when a conservative is brutally killed.
Brice isn’t backing down from the backlash either. He said if his tribute offends someone so much they won’t come to his shows, he doesn’t care if they’re there or not. That’s the kind of backbone we need from more celebrities in this country.
