A brave young conservative leader was gunned down in cold blood, and some of our nation’s teachers are celebrating. Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was murdered at Utah Valley University while hosting his famous “Prove Me Wrong” debates. The killing shocked Americans across the country who knew Kirk as a champion of faith, family, and freedom.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon is fighting back against the sick teachers who cheered Kirk’s death online. She called their behavior “absolutely abhorrent” and demanded action from school districts nationwide. McMahon said these twisted educators represent a “profound crisis in our classrooms and on our campuses.” She’s absolutely right.
Across America, leftist teachers rushed to social media to mock and celebrate a young father’s murder. One teacher allegedly posted “1 Nazi down” after Kirk was shot dead. These are the people we trust with our children every single day. It’s disgusting and it shows how far our schools have fallen.
Republican leaders are taking swift action to clean house. Florida and Oklahoma warned teachers they could lose their state certification for celebrating political violence. Texas is investigating 180 complaints about teachers’ social media posts. It’s about time someone held these radical educators accountable.
Kirk built Turning Point USA into the most powerful conservative youth movement in America. He helped President Trump win by reaching young voters who love America and reject woke nonsense. Kirk stood for gun rights, Christianity, and traditional values that made our country great. His murder was an attack on all patriotic Americans.
The liberal education establishment has poisoned our schools with anti-American hatred. McMahon is right to call out universities that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion programs instead of teaching real American values. These institutions take our tax dollars while brainwashing our kids to hate their own country.
McMahon promised that Kirk’s message will continue despite the violence from the left. She said conservatives won’t be “coward by the cowards” who commit these evil acts. Turning Point USA will keep fighting for freedom on college campuses across America. The movement Kirk built is stronger than ever.
Every American parent should be asking what their children’s teachers really believe. If they’re celebrating murder and promoting political violence, they have no business in our classrooms. It’s time to take back our schools from the radical left before they destroy another generation of American children.
