The radical left just couldn’t leave a grieving nation alone. While thousands of patriotic Americans gathered at the Kennedy Center on Sunday to honor Charlie Kirk, some deranged protester decided to scream into a megaphone about President Trump. This is exactly the kind of sick behavior we’ve come to expect from the unhinged liberal mob.
Charlie Kirk was gunned down at Utah Valley University just four days earlier while speaking to college students about making America great again. The 31-year-old conservative hero had spent his life fighting the woke agenda on college campuses through Turning Point USA. Now even his memorial service couldn’t escape the left’s hatred and violence.
House Speaker Mike Johnson and other Republican leaders came to pay their respects to a man who changed politics forever. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt praised Kirk for helping President Trump win over young voters. These were people trying to mourn and pray in peace.
But the left-wing extremists couldn’t stand seeing Americans come together to honor a conservative champion. Instead of showing basic human decency, some unhinged activist showed up with a megaphone to disrupt the solemn gathering. This protester literally screeched about Trump while families were trying to grieve.
This is the same playbook we saw in Boise where a Black Lives Matter activist attacked mourners at another Kirk vigil. These people have no shame and no respect for human life. They celebrate when conservatives are murdered and then mock us when we try to honor the dead.
The 85 members of Congress who attended the vigil saw firsthand how violent and hateful the left has become. Thousands of regular Americans waited over an hour just to pay their respects to Charlie Kirk. They didn’t deserve to have some lunatic screaming at them during their time of grief.
This protester represents everything wrong with America today. While good people were singing hymns and praying for our nation, radical leftists were outside spreading their poison. They can’t even let us bury our heroes without turning it into their personal hate rally.
Charlie Kirk died fighting for freedom and conservative values on college campuses across America. The fact that protesters showed up to mock his memorial proves exactly why his work was so important. We cannot let the radical left intimidate us into silence or they will destroy everything we hold dear.
