This is the same woman who spent years telling Americans that Biden was sharp as a tack.
Harris claims in her new book that Biden got tired at age 81 and that his age showed in physical and verbal stumbles. She tries to blame his disastrous debate performance on too much travel to Europe and a Hollywood fundraiser. These are the same pathetic excuses Democrats made when Biden embarrassed himself on national television.
The most disgusting part is how Harris now says it was reckless to let Biden decide whether to step down. She writes that the stakes were too high to leave it up to one person’s ego and ambition. Where was this courage when it actually mattered and America needed real leadership?
Harris spent her entire time as vice president covering for Biden’s obvious decline. She stood by silently while he stumbled through speeches and forgot where he was. Now she wants to rewrite history and pretend she was the responsible adult in the room.
This woman had a constitutional duty to speak up if she truly believed the president was unfit for office. Instead she chose political loyalty over country while Americans suffered under failed policies. Her silence enabled four years of disaster at the border, inflation, and international embarrassment.
Real Americans see right through this desperate attempt to save her political career. Harris is trying to position herself as the hero who was loyal to country over Biden. The truth is she was complicit in hiding Biden’s condition from voters who deserved to know.
The Republican National Committee is absolutely right to call out this shameless revisionist history. Danielle Alvarez and other conservative leaders understand that Harris cannot escape responsibility for the Biden administration’s failures. She was part of the problem from day one.
Harris should take her own advice about being tired and step away from politics permanently. Americans have had enough of her lies, excuses, and desperate attempts to cling to relevance after her humiliating loss to President Trump.
