Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman shocked many Americans this week with his bold support for Israel’s strike against Hamas terrorists in Qatar. The Democrat senator appeared on Newsmax and declared he absolutely supports killing Hamas members wherever they hide. His strong words came after Israel took out six Hamas leaders meeting in Qatar’s capital city.
Israel hit these terror bosses while they were supposedly talking about a ceasefire deal. But smart Americans know Hamas never keeps their promises anyway. These are the same monsters who butchered innocent families on October 7th and still hold American hostages.
Fetterman has been one of the few Democrats with the guts to stand with our ally Israel. While his progressive friends whine about ceasefire talks, Fetterman knows the truth. You cannot negotiate with terrorists who want to wipe Israel off the map.
Qatar claims Israel broke international law by striking on their soil. But why was Qatar giving safe haven to these killers in the first place. Real allies do not host terrorist meetings while pretending to help with peace talks.
Some weak politicians say this strike hurts peace efforts. That is backwards thinking that got us into this mess. Peace comes through strength, not by coddling terrorists who celebrate murdering babies.
Hamas could end this war tomorrow by releasing all hostages and surrendering. Instead they hide behind human shields and cry victim when Israel fights back. Every American should support destroying these evil terrorists wherever they lurk.
President Trump rightly said this strike does not help America’s goals. But sometimes our allies must act to protect themselves when diplomacy fails. Israel has every right to hunt down the butchers who attacked their people.
Fetterman may be wrong on most issues, but he gets this one right. America should always stand with democracies fighting terrorism. Hamas chose war on October 7th, and now they face the consequences of their evil actions.
