Russia is stealing Ukrainian children and selling them like products in an online store. This is evil beyond words, and the world needs to wake up to what Vladimir Putin is really doing. Over 20,000 innocent kids have been ripped from their families since the war began. Many experts think the real number could be much higher.
Russian officials created a sick website that shows Ukrainian children for adoption. The database lets people search by hair color, eye color, age, and even personality traits. These are real children with names and faces, not items to be bought and sold. Russia is not even trying to hide this horrific crime anymore.
The numbers are staggering and heartbreaking. Ukraine says Russia has taken nearly 20,000 children, but some officials believe it could be as many as 300,000 kids. Only about 1,480 children have made it back home to their families. The rest remain trapped in a nightmare they never asked for.
This is state-sponsored child trafficking, plain and simple. Putin’s regime is stealing children, brainwashing them in so-called reeducation camps, and forcing them to become Russians. Some of these kids watch their parents get killed before being dragged away. Others are tricked with promises of fun summer camps that turn into prisons.
Thank God for First Lady Melania Trump, who had the courage to personally hand Putin a letter demanding these children be returned. While other world leaders talk and do nothing, she took real action. This shows the kind of moral leadership America needs more of in these dark times.
The international community has failed these children miserably. The United Nations and other global organizations issue reports and wring their hands while kids suffer. Russia ignores international law and laughs at toothless sanctions. Evil wins when good people refuse to fight back with real force.
Make no mistake about what this really is. Putin is not just stealing land or resources in Ukraine. He is stealing the future itself by destroying families and corrupting innocent children. This is the kind of pure evil that freedom-loving people must never tolerate or ignore.
America must lead the charge to bring these children home. We need real consequences for Russia, not more useless paperwork from bureaucrats. Every day we wait, more kids lose their childhood, their families, and their freedom. The time for talk is over.
