Former ICE official Ron Vitiello is absolutely right to call out the Democrats and their media allies for their shameful defense of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. This so-called “Maryland man” is actually a criminal from El Salvador who was charged with federal human smuggling. Yet liberal politicians and activist judges are bending over backward to protect him from deportation.
The facts are simple and clear. Garcia was caught smuggling people across our border illegally. He broke our laws and put American lives at risk. Now he should face the consequences like any other criminal, but Democrats want to give him special treatment because it fits their open borders agenda.
Maryland’s liberal Governor Wes Moore went on national TV demanding “due process” for this smuggler. Moore and his fellow Democrats care more about protecting criminals than keeping Americans safe. They want judges to override immigration law just because they disagree with President Trump’s tough stance on border security.
The mainstream media is pushing pure propaganda by calling Garcia just a “Maryland man” instead of what he really is. They hide his criminal charges and make him sound like an innocent victim. This is exactly the kind of fake news that Americans are sick and tired of seeing every single day.
ICE did their job by taking Garcia into custody at his check-in appointment. That’s what our immigration officers are supposed to do with criminal aliens who pose a threat to our communities. The agency shouldn’t have to apologize for enforcing the laws that Congress already passed.
Liberal lawyers and the ACLU are now filing lawsuits to stop Garcia’s deportation to Uganda. They claim he has no connection to that country, but he lost the right to pick his destination when he decided to become a human smuggler. Actions have consequences, and criminals don’t get to choose their punishment.
Judge Paula Xinis blocked the deportation for now, showing once again how activist judges put politics ahead of public safety. These liberal judges think they know better than our elected officials and immigration experts. They’re more worried about protecting one criminal than securing our border for millions of law-abiding Americans.
Ron Vitiello spent years protecting our country at ICE and knows the truth about these cases. When he calls out Democrat propaganda, patriotic Americans should listen. We need more brave officials like Vitiello who will speak up for law and order instead of coddling criminals who break into our country.
