A Biden-appointed federal judge just stabbed President Trump in the back on border security. Judge Sparkle Sooknanan blocked the deportation of hundreds of Guatemalan children who were literally sitting on planes ready to go home. This is exactly the kind of activist judge nonsense that makes Americans furious.
These kids were part of a smart new program to reunite them with their families back in Guatemala. The Trump team worked hard to make a deal with Guatemala to get these children safely back to their parents. But liberal lawyers rushed to court at the last minute to stop it.
Some of these planes were already on the runway when this Obama-Biden judge decided to play politics. The kids had to be taken off the aircraft and sent back into our overloaded system. What a waste of taxpayer money and government resources.
Stephen Miller got it exactly right when he called out this ridiculous decision. These children all said their parents are waiting for them back home in Guatemala. But this Democrat judge thinks she knows better than the families themselves.
The lawyers claim these kids face danger if they go home. That sounds like the same old sob stories we always hear from the open borders crowd. Guatemala is their home country where their families live and want them back.
This temporary order lasts for 14 days while more liberal lawyers drag this through the courts. Meanwhile American taxpayers keep paying to house and feed children who should be with their own families. The system is completely backwards.
President Trump is trying to fix the border mess that Biden created. Every time he takes action to enforce our laws, some activist judge steps in to block him. This is why we need judges who respect the Constitution instead of playing politics.
These legal games hurt everyone including the children themselves. They belong with their parents in Guatemala, not stuck in our broken immigration system. America First means putting our citizens before illegal immigrants who should never have been here in the first place.
