The New York Times is now attacking Americans who want to get in shape. The liberal paper warned people not to try the Pete and Bobby Challenge. This fitness challenge has Trump Cabinet members doing 50 pullups and 100 pushups in under five minutes.
President Trump brought back real fitness standards for our kids and military. His Health Secretary RFK Jr. and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth showed America what being strong looks like. They did this challenge right at the Pentagon to prove a point.
But the Times thinks Americans are too weak to handle real exercise. They want people to be careful and scared instead of strong and healthy. This is the same newspaper that pushes every left-wing cause but draws the line at fitness.
Americans used to be the toughest people on earth. Our grandfathers stormed beaches and built this great nation with their bare hands. Now the media tells us that doing pushups might be dangerous.
Two-thirds of our military is overweight right now. Our kids are getting fatter every year while eating junk food and playing video games. This is exactly why we need leaders who set a strong example.
Secretary Hegseth said it best when he posted that being fat is completely unacceptable for our military. We need warriors who can defend America, not soldiers who cannot pass basic fitness tests. Real standards matter when lives are on the line.
Trump brought back the Presidential Fitness Test that Obama got rid of. Our children deserve to learn about strength and hard work again. Physical fitness builds character and teaches kids they can overcome challenges.
The Pete and Bobby Challenge is exactly what America needs right now. While the Times worries about hurt feelings, real patriots are getting strong and leading by example. Make America fit again.
