Cruz appeared on Life, Liberty & Levin and called out Newsom for being dishonest and a hypocrite on redistricting. The Texas conservative hero didn’t hold back when describing the Democrat’s latest power grab.
The whole mess started when President Trump asked Texas Republicans to redraw congressional maps to give him five more GOP seats. Trump knows he needs every advantage to keep the House in Republican hands. Democrats immediately threw a tantrum and started screaming about fairness.
Texas Democrats proved once again they hate democracy by literally fleeing the state for two weeks. These cowards ran away to deny Republicans the votes they needed to do their jobs. They abandoned the people who elected them just to play political games.
But here’s where it gets really rich. Gavin Newsom decided to fire back by pushing his own redistricting plan in California. The same guy who was crying about Texas doing redistricting suddenly thinks it’s fine when he does it. That’s liberal hypocrisy at its finest.
Cruz nailed Newsom perfectly by calling him out on this double standard. When Republicans try to gain seats, Democrats call it cheating. When Democrats do the exact same thing, they call it justice. Americans see right through this fake outrage.
The Texas Democrats finally came crawling back home after their two-week vacation ended in failure. They accomplished nothing except wasting taxpayer money and looking like fools. Meanwhile, hardworking Texans were left without representation.
This whole fight shows why we need fighters like Ted Cruz in Washington. He’s not afraid to call out liberal hypocrites when they try to change the rules. Cruz understands that Democrats will stop at nothing to grab power.
The American people are tired of Democrat games and double standards. When November comes around, voters will remember who stood up for them and who ran away like cowards. That’s why conservative leaders like Cruz and Trump will keep winning.
