Israel is doing what any nation must do to survive. After months of fighting, they are finally moving to take complete control of Gaza City and crush Hamas once and for all. Defense Minister Israel Katz approved the plan to occupy Gaza City, calling up 60,000 brave Israeli reservists to finish the job.
This is not about negotiation anymore. Hamas terrorists are still holding innocent Israeli hostages after almost a year of war. They started this fight on October 7th when they murdered over 1,200 innocent people and kidnapped hundreds more.
The new operation called Gideon’s Chariot II builds on Israel’s earlier success this year. From May to August, Israeli forces already captured 75 percent of Gaza in Operation Gideon’s Chariots. Now they are moving to take the rest and end Hamas control forever.
Some people around the world are criticizing Israel for this offensive. They want Israel to accept another fake ceasefire that lets Hamas regroup and rearm. That is exactly what Hamas wants and exactly what Israel cannot afford to do.
Victoria Coates from Heritage Foundation got it right when she called this a survival situation. Israel faces enemies who want to wipe them off the map completely. You do not negotiate with people who want to kill every last one of you.
Hamas already rejected reasonable peace deals and keeps hiding behind civilians like cowards. They use hospitals and schools as military bases and then cry when Israel has to target them. This is pure terrorist behavior that no civilized nation should tolerate.
The clock is ticking for the remaining hostages still trapped in Hamas tunnels. Every day Israel waits is another day those innocent people suffer at the hands of brutal terrorists. Strong military action is the only language these killers understand.
America should stand firmly with Israel as they finish this fight. Israel is fighting the same Islamic terrorists who threaten freedom everywhere. When Israel wins, the whole free world wins too.
